This is a quick and easy recipe that  can be prepared in advance and cooked when your ready to serve, I love these with black cherries in syrup or  grated chocolate and sliced bananas but choose your favourite filling.

Will make 10-12 crepes

200g plain flour

3 eggs lightly beaten

240ml full fat milk

240ml  Crouch

1 tbsp vegetable oil

pinch of salt

2 tbsp of butter for frying

Whisk in a large bowl the eggs, milk and beer. Gradually whisk in the flour now add salt and oil and whisk vigorously to form a smooth batter, leave to sit for at least one hour.

When you are ready, heat a non stick frying pan and coat with a brushing of butter, be sure not to heat the pan too hot as this will burn the butter, pour a ladle of batter into the pan and spread the mixture to form an even shaped pancake cook for 1-2  minutes and when golden flip onto the other side and repeat process.Transfer to a warm plate and cover with foil, carry on until you have the required amount or until the batter has gone. Fill with your favourite filling and serve with ice cream or double cream.
